Murat Sor Medical Director
Dr. Sor’s expertise covers vascular and interventional radiology, venous insufficiency and pain management. He serves as an adjunct instructor of Radiology for George Washington University Medical Center.
After receiving his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Sor completed his medical education at George Washington University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at Washington Hospital Center and his residency and fellowship training at George Washington University School of Medicine.
Dr. Sor has been named as a Washingtonian Top Doctor in Interventional Radiology for the years 2005 and 2008. Dr Sor’s other areas of clinical interest include Uterine Fibroid Embolization, Pelvic Venous Congestion Syndrome and Peripheral Vascular Disease.
Thomas Raggio Interventional Radiologist
After earning a BA in human biology from Stanford University, Dr. Thomas Raggio received his MD from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. He subsequently completed an internship in general medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago followed by a residency in radiology at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC where he was named “Outstanding Resident of the Year” and also served as chief resident. He also underwent fellowship training in interventional radiology at Georgetown University Hospital. An active member of the Society of Interventional radiology, the American Roetgen Ray Society, the American College of Radiology and the American Medical Association, Dr. Raggio expertise is in vascular and interventional radiology with several special areas of interest including: fibroid embolization, venous insufficiency, and interventional oncology.
Keith Horton Physician
Keith Horton, MD, is a senior attending physician in the Interventional Radiology Division of the Department of Radiology. He is also the director of radiologic informatics at Washington Hospital Center, and an assistant clinical professor of radiology at Georgetown University Hospital, and previously served in the same capacity for the National Naval Medical Center and Howard University Radiology departments. He completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University, earning an AB degree in chemistry with a sub-specialization in biochemistry. He received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed his internship in internal medicine at the University of Virginia, and his residency in radiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Horton proceeded to complete a fellowship in interventional radiology at the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the American Board of Radiology, the Society of Interventional Radiology, the Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Society of Europe, the American College of Radiology and the American Medical Society.
Dr. Horton is licensed in the District of Columbia, Virginia and Maryland. He is board certified in radiology and holds a Certificate of Advanced Qualification in interventional radiology. Dr. Horton has performed Uterine Artery Embolization for more than 10 years. Dr. Horton has authored many peer-reviewed articles and several textbook chapters in Interventional Radiology.
Meredith West Physician Assistant
Meredith is a Physician Assistant certified by the National Commision on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Virginia. A Virginia native, Meredith completed her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences at James Madison University. She then pursued and completed a Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Shenandoah University. After practicing as a surgical physician assistant in general surgery, plastic surgery, and vein surgery for several years, she joined HealthQare Associates in April of 2011 where she utilizes her knowledge, experience and surgical skills to provide excellent care to all of her patients.
